Dr. M. Surya Durga Prasad, joined as Assistant Professor at the School of Medical Sciences, University of Hyderabad in April 2017. He has completed MBBS degree and MD in community Medicine Post graduation degree from Prestigious Osmania Medical College, Hyderabad. He has received Fellowship in Diabetes from IMA in 2013 and he also received Master of Medicine in Family medicine PG degree from CMC Vellore in 2017.

He served as Assistant professor in Mediciti institute of Medical Sciences and involved in the conduction of health camps and awareness programmes for underserved population of rural area. He was also involved in the managing of rural health care Centre and training of interns and medical students in primary health care and community outreach activities. He was participated in Monitoring of ICDS Project, WHO – GYTS, AAPIO project, Jawahar Bala Aarogya Raksha Programme and ICMR Telemedicine Project. He was part of CGHR MDS Project as a physician coder. He has presented his work in several national conferences of public health and published in peer reviewed journals.
